Year 6 visit to the Harry Potter Studios

Year 6 visit to the Harry Potter Studios

The children of Year 6 recently visited the Harry Potter Studios in Watford as part of their unit of learning on Narrative-Adventure. This highly anticipated visit is always eagerly received by the children and staff and this year was no exception. Isabel W from 6DC wrote the following “When we first got into the building we watched the introduction. Suddenly, they lighted up the screen and revealed the Great Hall. Everyone rushed in. There were Christmas Trees decorated with Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin colours. There was a feast with fake food that looked so realistic. It was so exciting and I wish I could go again”

Honey B reported “My favourite part of the Harry Potter school trip was when we walked down Diagon Alley. We got to see all the different wizard s shops such as Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes and Olivanders. Also seeing the magical foot print move by themselves was amazing. The shop towered tall as we gazed at the giant Fred Weasley lift off his hat and replace it as if he was real!”
