Twenty two children from Year 5 & 6 took part in the MK Schools annual Cross Country event at Stantonbury Campus on Saturday 5th November. Our children have trained vigorously for the past 5 weeks including giving up their lunch times 2/3 times a week.
They were split into Junior Girls, Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys teams. Each race consisted of 140-160 children.
Each of our teams produced outstanding efforts and some stand out individual performances came from Nathan Godleman (Senior Boys) who came 9th and Jamila Clare (Senior Girls) who amazingly finished 3rd and in doing so she has qualified for the County.
At the end, each teams scores were added together and our Senior Boys came first which is fantastic as we have never achieved this before. The six boys managed to all come in the top 42 places.
We are extremely proud of the effort they have all put in. Congratulations to;
