Hungerford House
On Tuesday 17th December Mrs Wheeler, Mrs Prince and Mr Higgs accompanied 15 members of the Emerson Valley choir, from years 4,5 and 6, on their visit to Hungerford House. The visit to Hungerford House is always a highlight in the choirs calendar with the residents requesting the choir to visit in the week leading up to Christmas.
The choir performed a variety of Christmas songs and they all proved to be very popular, particularly those songs which the residents could join in with.
After the children had finished their repertoire they enjoyed some squash, biscuits and sweets and chatted with the residents who were very complimentary about their singing.
It was a lovely way for the choir, who have only been together for 6 weeks, to spend the morning.
