Last half term, we were incredibly lucky to have a special visitor helping us to learn about Democracy. Lord Norton of Louth visited us and led an assembly explaining how parliament works. Lord Norton sits in the House of Lords and is a vital part of democracy in our country. Part of his job is to help shape legislation that moves through parliament and he explained this process to the whole school. This has inspired our School Council and we will also be creating a Debate Team to help shape the future of our school. A special thank you needs to go to his relatives in our school for organising his visit.
