Throughout the school our children carry out a wide range of practical activities which cover all four strands of the Design Technology curriculum; textiles, food, resistant materials and graphics.
The children are presented with a design brief and, following an investigation of similar products, they work through the design process from initial ideas and focused tasks which develop skills and techniques to design ane create their finished product. This is then evaluated in the context of the original requirement.
Through Design Technology the children experience working with a range of tools and variety of materials in the realisation of their own designs.
